YES! Programme is looking for Sarawak youths aged 17-25 old who can IDENTIFY a feature, a quality, or a tradition, or a custom, or a product found in their respective communities, that they are PROUD OF, and who can THINK of an INNOVATIVE IDEA that will help to preserve or sustain that which they are proud of.
This idea could be;
-
an act of service; OR
-
an entrepreneurial venture that could raise funds for community development or develop a service or product that makes use of the community’s natural resources (social enterprise); OR
-
an educational activity that will enlighten the people in their community or spur the people to get involved in something that will be of benefit to the society at large; OR
-
a combination of all the above.

If YOU have such an idea, and you are able to form a group of 3-7 members among your friends, classmates, neighbours or family members (siblings or cousins) to IMPLEMENT that idea, then your GROUP can join the YES Programme.
IF YOUR GROUP's idea is selected, YOUR GROUP will be given support (funding and technical/management support) to implement your idea. The groups selected will be eligible to receive awards of recognition in the form of scholarships or investment capital grants or trips overseas to represent Sarawak in international youth events upon successful implementation of their project idea. Groups will be mentored and judged by a panel accomplished personalities in Malaysia.
